The German luxury car manufacturer is all set to launch its 2 new models in India. On 2nd December both the vehicles will be displayed with all the details and pricing. The firm has also confirmed advanced booking for both the SUVs for 1.5lakh at Mercedes Benz official website.
The GLB based on the MFA 2 platform extending over 4,634 mm in length , 1,834 mm in width and 2,829 mm in Wheelbase. Comparing to its electric identical EQB , which is $,784 mm in length , 1,667 mm in height has the same wheelbase to GLB .
Globally the GLB is also available with its AMG spec but it will be too early to expect it in Indian market but observing the trend , Mercedes will not loose the pride and will try harder to launch it in the domestic market.
EQB restrains its power from its 66.5kWh battery pack and comes with front or all wheel drive options. The certified range given is 472 km but we can expect it to move around 400 to 450 .
Will it be ok for moving forward on luxury brands in the EV segment when the domestic players are leading with financials and other aspects ? That’s all from my side . Thank you!
