Citroen has marked its three-year milestone in the Indian market with enticing offers for customers. Alongside price reductions, the company has unveiled a vibrant new edition and rolled out benefits for its existing clientele.
Price Adjustments and Discounts:
In a bid to make their vehicles more accessible, Citroen has slashed prices on two of its popular models. The Citroen C3 is now available from just Rs 5.99 lakh, while the C3 Aircross starts at Rs 8.99 lakh. These discounts are sure to attract potential buyers, but details regarding whether they apply to the MY2023 or MY2024 models remain undisclosed. Previously, the C3 was priced between Rs 6.16 lakh and Rs 9.08 lakh, with the C3 Aircross ranging from Rs 10 lakh to Rs 14.27 lakh.
Special Edition Release:
Adding to the celebratory fervor, Citroen has introduced the Blu Edition for both the eC3 and C3 models. This edition flaunts a striking Cosmo Blue paint shade, available in monotone or dual-tone finishes with distinctive exterior graphics. Inside, the Blu Edition boasts an array of upgrades including an air purifier, illuminated cupholders, stylish sill plates, and exclusive upholstery accents. While Citroen has not disclosed the pricing premium for this edition nor the specific trim levels it’s available on, it’s undoubtedly a stylish addition to their lineup.
Customer Referral Programme:
In a move to reward loyalty and expand its customer base, Citroen has initiated a referral program. Existing customers stand to gain a voucher worth Rs 10,000 for every successful referral they make. Additionally, as a token of appreciation, the company is offering complimentary car spa services to all its customers.
Future Plans:
Looking ahead, Citroen is gearing up for further enhancements in its lineup. The brand recently teased the exterior design of the Basalt high-riding coupe-SUV and announced plans to equip the C3 hatchback with an automatic gearbox by June. Moreover, Citroen has committed to enhancing safety standards across its range, with six airbags set to become standard in all models from the latter half of 2024. However, it’s worth noting that the eC3 faced criticism for its safety features, scoring a disappointing 0-star rating in the Global NCAP assessment.
As Citroen continues to evolve and innovate in the Indian market, these initiatives underscore its commitment to providing value and safety to its customers.
